Products by Lrw Designs give life to scraps of fabric that would otherwise be discarded. This unique collection is not only a way to express yourself, but it can positively impact the environment.
All of my unique textile creations are made from my original hand painted silk and cotton fabrics from my 35 years as a fashion designer, designing under the SILKSCAPES and LRW DESIGNS labels. I recycle them along with other unusual fabrics, hand dyed yarns and combine them with other fiber techniques to create my one of a kind pieces.
Why do we love what we do?
I love creating and designing new things. From an early age, I knew I wanted to do something that involved art. I also have a love of fashion, so my work is able to combine both. This passion spills over to all aspects of my life. I consider my garden an art form and in my spare time I love creating a sanctuary.

Studio using tulle and assorted recycled fabrics. Color and texture layered side by side make each one of these scarves a unique treasure. It is light enough to wear every season which makes it perfect for travel.
To create a kaleidoscope of color and pattern assorted recycled multicolored fabrics are pieced together using overcast stitching and sewn on top of black tulle. The edges are also finished in the overcast stitch. Both ends are embellished with a blossom flower made from the recycled fabrics and there are 3 dancing tails of fabric that are attached to the flowers. There is also a smaller flower in the center which creates a special accent when you wear it.
Whether you are dressing up a casual ensemble or adding the finishing touch to something special you will add a dash of artistry to your look. For versatility it can also be worn as a sash or belt. Scarves by LRW DESIGNS feel like you are draping a Piece of artwork around your neck. It feels like a rich painting of bold hues.
Due to the diversity of the patterned and multi colored recycled fabrics items will vary slightly in coloration. This makes each scarf unique and special.
