The Perfect Casual Summer Dress
Finally, I found the perfect casual summer dress I can throw on to run errands or chase after the kids this summer while still looking put together.It’s a T-shirt dress with pockets, a crew neckline, short sleeves, and an elastic waistband with a functional drawstring. The color is a gorgeous cornflower blue–not too vibrant, but just the right muted shade. I appreciate that the drawstring is the same color and material as the dress so it blends seamlessly.The length is perfect, hitting just below my knees. It’s true to size; I ordered a small. At 5’4″ and 110 lbs, it fits great. The fabric is super soft and stretchy. My only minor complaint is that the fabric is a little thin/sheer, but not a deal breaker–I will just wear a slip underneath. I’ll definitely be ordering more colors.

Beautiful
I received so many compliments. Very comfortable, fits great, flattering and great quality. This was my 2nd time buying it and I could tell the quality has changed a little (previous dress was 5 stars) and the style changed a tiny bit. I hate when I purchase the same exact item but it’s not the same.

Different materials for different patterns. Why?
Ordered one of the floral ones and I love it. It’s comfortable, it’s flattering (even for those with a tummy). It’s lightweight for the hot summer days. I get compliments every time I wear it. Ordered another in a different color (solid blue) because I liked it so much. To my dismay, the material feels completely different. While the floral is not cotton, it has that more cotton-y feel (and forgiving look). The blue material is that weird, thin, slinky material that captures every imperfection on your body. Disappointing. BTW, these dresses do require slips as you can see through them (even the dark material). I gave 3 stars. The black floral would get 5 stars and the solid blue would get one.

Fabric is soft, luxurious to the touch and drapes beautifully.
The stitching is excellent, the weight and heft is balanced, very comfortablewith no pulling or scratchy areas. The waist band is perfect, there was no skimping to save expense, with proper attention to all the details that will make this dress a favorite staple for work and home. Nice pockets that are roomy enough to hold a phone and wallet or lip balm without being bulky. This dress will work well with all body types. I am short and have curves, this dress is very appropriate for work and is attractive, it doesn’t bind and would work for active outings. Does not appear to wrinkle. This was a little more expensive than the 10.00 summer shifts for around the house, beach, and gardening, but is an excellent value. I will be ordering more of these. I could have ordered a small, but the medium is roomy and comfortable. Don’t hesitate with this dress, it’s a definite recommend from me.

Drapes nicely
Nice color, comfortable material, size is true to fit, drapes nicely. The string belt makes it easy to tighten anywhere around your waist area that works well for your shape. I dress it up or down. Cool summer weight. Flattering length that can also be adjusted by how much you blouse it. Small slits at the hem. And pockets!! I havenât had it long but I like it so much that I want to order in different colors. Not sure how the material will hold up for the long run but for the price and because itâs so flattering, Iâm very happy with it.

Inexpensive travel dress
I needed a plain black, knee length, summer travel dress, with a defined waist, that would work with sneakers or sandals. I ordered this dress because it checked all the boxes, but I had low expectations due to its low rating, thinking Iâd probably end up returning it. I was very pleasantly surprised.Iâm 5â7â and 35-27-38.5 and ordered medium. Itâs true to size, fitting me just as it does the model. Itâs fully adjustable in the waist, has pockets, and is a nice, saturated black color. The sleeves are fitted enough for adding a cardigan but still comfortable. It skims the body and is neither tight nor loose. I tried it on with white sneakers and then with black sandals, a bolero cardigan, and a scarf. Both outfits worked well.I washed in cold and dried it on low, and itâs now 41.5â long – just as the size guide indicates. (I forgot to measure before washing, but it was about 1.5â longer before that, so some vertical shrinkage.)Keep in mind the elastic waist is going to hold the hemline a bit higher, so this dress falls to the same point that a dress of about 38â would fall. On me, this is just above the knee. I donât agree with the manufacturerâs claim that the waistline adjusts up or down. If you order your size and have a waist, thatâs where this dress is going to sit. You could maybe cinch it up higher for an empire look, but itâs not going any lower unless you size up.So thatâs the good. The not so good: This dress is really thin, and I think itâs going to wrinkle when folded in a suitcase. It came out of the dryer wrinkle free, but this fabric seems like the type Iâll need to hang in the shower at my accommodation. As for thinness, I stepped outside in the sun, and hubs said he couldnât see through it, so itâs adequate. Iâm guessing the light colors arenât, though.

Great fabric and design but I need one at least two sizes smaller. It is a lovely dress in 100% cotton but much too large.
