embroidery snags and runs easily
I love the way this scarf looks and feels. Unfortunately, though, I have cats, and my cat just WALKED across this scarf as it was laying on the arm of the couch, her claw snagged in the loose embroidery thread, and now there’s a piece of thread that is noticeably longer than the others, and a small hole in the weave. I was not expecting the scarf pattern to be machine-embroidered, but it is, and as a result, every snag is going to be noticeable, and it’s going to snag very easily.I can still wear it, and the fabric itself is very silky and comfortable; I’ll just have to be careful not to snag the embroidery on anything, and keep it away from my cats’ feet. I did remove two stars though, due to how easy it is to ruin the embroidery or snag one of the loose thread-loops

Confused. Description reads 100% wool but tag reads 100% Viscose. Soft as silk.
I am confused by the item description. It reads that the Pashmina is 100% wool but the tag on the scarf that I received reads 100% Viscose. I am not familiar with Pashmina wool so perhaps it is a blend of wool and viscose???Nevertheless, this scarf is gorgeous. It is lightweight and so, so soft. To me, as soft as silk. The colors are gentle and the patterns reflect lovely Celtic symbols. The tassels are a light yarn, not gathered closely together but spaced about ¼â apart giving it a nice lay. Because it is very lightweight, I don’t know how much warmth it will provide but I do know that this scarf will bring a unique beauty and give interest to ones look.

This review is for the Briomhar Celtic Pashmina Wool Scarf (color teal)The listing claims this scarf is âMADE WITH 100% PASHMINA WOOLâ Thar is a bald faced LIE. It is 100% viscose. If I could give zero stars I would due to the false marketing.

Scarf Material is Viscose – not Pashmina Wool
This scarf has a beautiful design and lovely color options. However, I love Pashmina Wool and was disappointed to find that this is actually 100% Viscose. So it has a soft, silky feel like Rayon – but it is not Pashmina Wool. Just a heads up! It’s still a pretty scarf but not what the description states!
