All of my unique textile creations are made from my original hand painted silk and cotton fabrics from my 35 years as a fashion designer, designing under the SILKSCAPES and LRW DESIGNS labels. I recycle them along with other unusual fabrics, hand dyed yarns and combine them with other fiber techniques and embellishments to create my one of a kind pieces. They are not for the timid but for those who are a bit more eclectic and like to show their creative side.

LRW DESIGNS STUDIO
All my scarves are designed and handmade by me in my GA. Studio. Due to the diversity of the hand dyed yarns and hand painted fabrics items will vary in coloration which makes each scarf a unique creation. The material is light enough to wear any season. To care for them simply hand wash in cold water and hang to dry, spot or dry clean.
Hand painted silk baseball jacket designed for Will Smith – HOMEBASE CD Cover
In the 1990’s I was lucky enough to create some of Will Smith’s wardrobe for the Fresh Prince of Belair TV show and he wore the baseball jacket on his Homebase album cover. Now I am recycling those hand painted fabrics to create my fashion accessories.
